PRP/Exosome/SVF
MAVI TOURS - Medical Aesthetics
PRP: Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a treatment that involves drawing a small amount of a patient's blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting it into the affected area. Platelets contain growth factors that can stimulate the healing of soft tissue.

PRP is used to treat the following conditions:

-
Hair loss
-
Orthopedics
-
Sports Injuries
-
Dermatology/Skin Rejuvenation
-
Musculoskeletal injuries
-
Tendonitis
-
Ligament sprains
-
Osteoarthritis

Recovery Time: Depending on the age and condition of each patient, the recovery time from this therapy is around 3-6 weeks for noticeable effects. It will continue to aid healing for 6 to 9 months.

Potential side effects: Since PRP is made up of a patient's own cells and plasma, the risk of an allergic reaction is very low. However, in rare cases, there could be bleeding, tissue damage, infections, and nerve injuries.

EXOSOME THERAPY: Exosomes are extracellular vesicles; these are tiny bubbles released from stem cells. Exosomes carry genetic information and proteins to cells throughout the body; they create paths for communication between cells. Exosomes are extracted from donated human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cells (ADMSCs) and are sterilized. Exosomes are very powerful elements that can restore cells throughout your body. They enhance cell-to-cell communication, which is essential for overall cell health. Exosomes contain nearly five times the amount of growth factors with ability to restore and revitalize the targeted cells.
This is administered through IV or directly injected in the treatment area.

Exosome Therapy is used to treat the following diseases:

-
Hair Loss
-
Scars
-
Facial skin treatment
-
Alzheimer's, Parkinson & Rheumatoid Arthritis
-
Liver Disease & Lung Fibrosis
-
Cardiac Disease & Vascular necrosis
-
Erectile Dysfunction
-
Anti-Aging & skin care
-
Orthopedics & Osteoarthritis
-
Cartilage degeneration & injuries
-
Ligament injuries & Tissue damage
-
Tendinopathy, Tendonitis & Tendon injuries
-
Bone fractures
-
Inflammation

Recovery Time: The healing time after the exosome therapy could be between 6 to 10 weeks.

Potential side effects include: In rare cases the following could be side effects of Exosome therapy:

-
Injection site reaction.
-
Ineffective treatment due to insufficient exosome content.
-
Contamination of cells through improperly harvested exosomes – this can result in growths or abnormal cell development in the target site or other areas of the body.
-
Bacterial infection resulting from improper extraction methods or incomplete sterilization.

STROMAL VASCULAR FRACTION (SVF) THERAPY: SVF therapy is a medical treatment approach which utilizes stromal vascular fraction, a heterogeneous mixture of cells extracted from adipose tissue (tissues that store fats), to treat various medical conditions by using its regenerative and immunomodulatory properties.

SVF Therapy is used to treat the following diseases:

Knee, Ankle & Hip Calcification
Meniskopatiler
Knee operations with lingering pain (meniscus, anterior cruciate ligament tears)
Sports Injuries
Vascular Necrosis of the hip (Femur head destruction)
Frozen shoulder
Muscle and Tendon disorders
Festering sores (diabetic foot)
Aesthetic skin rejuvenation
Baldness & hair loss
Tooth diseases, etc.

Harvesting of SVF: The required quantity of fat (Approx. 200 cc) is collected from abdominal fats under local anesthesia. The collected fat is sent to the stem cell laboratory to separate the stem cells, these cells will then be injected into the targeted site to be treated (knee joint, hip joint, etc.).

Recovery Time: Depending on the age and condition of each patient, the recovery time from this therapy is around 3 to 6 months.

Procedure: This is an outpatient procedure performed at clinics or hospitals. Fat is collected from the abdominal area of your body under local anesthesia and could take about half an hour. You may return to your daily routine after the procedure. The collected fats will be transferred to a stem cell laboratory in a cold chain to separate the stem cells to be injected into the affected site.

SVF therapy is approved by both the Ministry of Health in Turkiye and the FDA (US Food & Drug Administration).

Potential risks and side effects: There are generally no serious side effects of SVF treatment, with the most common issues being mild swelling, fever, headache, bruising, and the possibility of infection. Given that SVF utilizes only the patient’s own tissue, harmful side effects or allergies are not anticipated.

Selection Of Treatment:
It is an individualized decision made by the doctor based on the severity of the injury, disease involved and your medical history. Some diagnoses may require PRP, Exosome or SVF or a combination of any two.
